Member organizations of Sarvodaya Foundation and its reach as on Feb 2021 are:
- Working districts: Ramanathapuram, Tuticorin, Pudukkottai and Tanjore districts of TN
- 14 Federations of Self-Help Groups (F-SHG)
- 2200 SHGs with the membership of 31,500 poor families
- Rs 28.74 crores of savings and Rs 69.45 crores of loan outstanding with SHG members
- SHG-Bank linkage collaboration: UBI, Canara Bank, TNGB and Indian Bank
- Social security collaboration: LIC, Apollo Munich, NIC, GHPL
Network Services
Sarvodaya Foundation strives to achieve institutional capacity building of the member federations, integrated development and impacting livelihoods of vulnerable communities, policy advocacy and representing SHG federations in the sectoral debates and scaling up of the empowerment model of SHG Federations.
Sarvodaya Foundation offers the following services to its member Federations:
- Enabling effective governance and management
- Facilitating self-regulation within member organizations
- Offering HR services and facilitating staff welfare personal policies and programmes
- Facilitating bank linkage, social security, government programmes through mainstream collaboration
- Providing institutional support like software, accounts & audit services and ensuring legal compliances to its member federations
- Advocating pro-poor policies by echoing the voices of its member Federations
- Supporting the Federations to evolve, design and implement civic development programmes including welfare of vulnerable and differently-abled, water resources development, ecosystem management.
Sarvodaya Foundation and its member Federations are members in Advancing Community Empowerment (ACE) Foundation which is a national net-work institution of different kinds of community institutions headquartered at Salem, Tamilnadu. Sarvodaya Foundation and its members will get support from ACEF in order to get national exposure and learn on different development models, initiatives.
